Covid-19 Guidelines

we  will  be  following  cdc  guidelines (taking  temps,  pulse  ox) 

COVID  Rules:
The  safety  of  our  patients  and  team  members,  remains  our  top  priority  amidst the  COVID-19  pandemic.  For  everyone's  safety  the  following  changes  have  been implemented:
1. Telemedicine will continue to be offered as an option for eligible patients.
2. Patients will be asked pre-screening questions at the time of appointment and upon visit confirmation.

      -  Have you been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19? Currently caring for someone  with COVID-19?
      - Do you and/or anyone you have been in contact with currently have a Fever, any symptoms such as cough,                                              - shortness of breath or sore throat?
      - Are you awaiting a COVID-19 test result?
     
 - Have you been to a COVID hot-spot or flown recently?
3. Patients and guests will have their temperature and pulse oxygen taken before entry, and will be pre-screened for any symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, etc.).

4. We will wear KN95 or N95 masks, and single-use disposable gloves at all times during the visit.
5. We have air purifiers in the waiting area and exam room.
6. Plexiglass Barriers are in strategic places including the front desk, optical and exam room.

7. Slit-lamp and phoropter shields have been installed in the exam/clinic room.
8. Patients are scheduled about 1 hour apart to maintain social distance and to allow for ample time to sanitize all high-touch areas throughout the practice, optical and exam room.
9. Chairs have been removed to ensure social distance in the waiting areas.
10. We ask that no additional guests accompany the patient unless they are a caregiver or may need to provide physical assistance. One guardian may accompany a minor. FACE MASKS are required for everyone in the practice during the entire visit.


For your appointment:
1 - Bring your own mask (or one will be provided to you)
 2 - Please access your email. It has the link to our portal so you may update your complete medical history online prior to the visit. This is to make the process as contactless as possible.
3 - Wash or sanitize your hands before and after your visit
 4 - Leave non-essential belongings in your car (this includes purses, bags, etc.)
5 - Limit the number of non-essential guests (Exceptions will be made for patients with mobility issues, mental 
    incapacities, or for those patients that require a translator. These  patients will be allowed one guest to assist them
   during their visit. One guardian may accompany a minor).

6 - Avoid touching your mouth, nose, and face during the visit.
7 -  If you develop any new symptoms before your visit (cough, shortness of breath or sore throat, or fever) please   
-  contact us to reschedule your appointment. We ask everyone to adhere to CDC COVID-19 guidelines.
